The workshop and its features
The DeVidres workshop is a space created with love and care for glass, and will continue growing and evolving with work and patience. For now, it’s equipped with:
- Large, comfortable cutting and soldering table.
- Cutting tools.
- Several grinders.
- Several soldering irons.
- Fusing kiln (Coming soon)
- Small kitchen with sink, coffee maker, and mini fridge.
To keep us hydrated and energized while learning and working! - Own shop with supplies and tools, so you have everything you need for your projects at hand.

What’s included?
Includes full workshop access, free use of common machines (such as grinders, soldering irons...), coffee or tea, and a mini library with patterns and techniques to inspire and guide you.
What’s not included?
Not included: glass, solder tin, copper tape, chemicals, consumables... personal cutting tools and personal safety gear like gas masks. On your first day we’ll provide them, but in the long run you’ll need your own.

Basic information
Level: Ideal for beginners, no prior experience needed, just the desire to create.
Duration: 3h 30min
Recommended for: Teens and adults (+14 years) due to handling sharp glass and soldering irons. (Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.)
Would you like to create your own handmade stained glass? In this one-day course you’ll learn the basics of the Tiffany technique and create a piece to take home. You’ll be able to choose from several simple designs that you’ll have time to finish.
No prior experience is needed. We’ll guide you step by step so you learn how to cut, solder, and assemble glass.
